    ok here you go.
this is not a big problem sir.

the reasons for problem are are as follows.

1>> when you receive two channels then the problem is the SHARP is not able to detect the signals from the cable box which you are using.
for this you ask your provider of the BOX if the BOX is compatible with the TV model you are using. weather your TV can detect the signals of all ranges from your box.

2>> if compatible then you can make sure with the different card
.. it ca be the problem with your card also.

3>> now even this is not working you wil have to ask your provider to replace the box which you have been given with a new and latest box.

    follow all these steps..

this will fix you hope fully..

    thanks a lot...

    wish you good luck ..

    thank you

How do I get the tv to scan for channels

For the LC-xxLE Aquos models the channels can be setup using the Menu button and going to the Initial Setup -> EZ Setup screen. Choose the home and air/cable options and start the channel search. If you have a working antenna or cable input, the TV will discover all the working channels.

Just bought a 43 sharp Aquios says its updating and its been like that for a couple hours says do not unplug may corrupt the system making your tv inoperable

Updating through the aerial can take a considerable time which is why auto updates tend to take place around 3am.

Instruction manuals tend to provide little help or reassurance so contacting your local dealer or the Sharp customer service would be preferable.

Sharp Aquos LC 32G4U not receiving any channels-

Most locations are real hard to get local stations using indoor antennas. If you are in a location where you do not have cable, I would try either a outside antenna on the roof or go with Direct TV Dish / Dish Network system.
I hope this helps,

Seeing that you have a superior brand and not getting channels is a bummer. It may have to do with the setting, make sure you're set to cable rather antenna and then do a rescan. Btw, often times channels from an over the antenna is much clearer than from cable because cable tv has to compress the signal. If you're high in the air like the top floor of a building a cheap $10 will pull in great free digital channels. It helps to experiment and read the troubleshooting guide in your manual.

37 inch Sharp Aquos. "Failed to receive Broadcast [E202]"

This is basically a message for no signal on the tv, make sure the tv itself is on the correct input for the type of cable used. The inputs are labled by numbers on the back of the tv. The input can be changed by the button on the side panel of the tv.
