There is likely a problem with your fixing unit (also called a Fuser).

This is a device at the exit of the printer that squeezes the paper between a pressure roller and a heat roller. The heat is what "fixes" the toner onto the paper.

Either your paper is being fed crooked, or there is a problem in the fixing unit itself.

Remove your drum/toner cartridge. Look into the empty chamber of the printer and see if you can see any objects or bits of paper. Clean it out as best you can.
If your toner and drum are separate cartridges, separate them and make sure they don't have any bits of paper stuck between them. If they are both contained in one cartridge, then skip that last step.
Remove your paper tray and make sure the tabs are set correctly. There should be a tab at the back to snug tha paper length wise, and one at the side to snug the width. Setting these correctly will help prevent crooked feeding.
If you can see your paper pickup roller just over top of where the tray fits, make sure it is clean and not too badly worn.

Try printing something but turn the printer off about 1/2 way through the print cycle. Open the door and remove the drum. The sheet of paper should be stuck inside the drum. Examine it and see if it was feeding crooked. After examining it, remove it carefully and throw it in the trash. Don't touch the type as it is not fixed and will dirty your hands or clothes.

If the paper in the drum was straight, then there is a problem with your fixing unit. If the paper was crooked, then there is a pickup/feed problem.

When we print something, the paper comes out and is wrinkled and has some ink on it in places where there is no print. The fuser checks out fine.

Description sounds like the fuser rollers are bad.
To check it out run a 1/2 test.
Put paper in the manual feed tray. Print something. As the paper gets 1/2 way into the printer, open the top cover,(you might have to print a few sheets to catch it just right) take out the toner and look down at the paper. If it is wrinkled, you could have a bad toner cartridge. If it looks good...get the fuser replaced.

Printer will not print...it jammed ......the paper jammed in the machine..and I pulled it out....

1. Inspect the paper trays to make sure they are not overloaded. To determine if this is the problem, do a test print with only one piece of paper loaded in the paper tray. (If this turns out to be the problem, keep the paper tray half-full in the future.)
2. Check that the type of paper being used falls within the printer manufacturer's recommendations. For example, paper designed for ink-jet printers doesn't necessarily work well in laser printers. High-quality, bonded paper will cause paper jams in some printers; look for bonded paper that is "laser and ink-jet compatible."
3. If someone has recently printed labels on this printer, check to see if a label has come unglued from a sheet and become stuck inside the printer.
4. Check the gears and rollers for stuck shreds of torn paper from previous jams. Turn off the printer before you attempt to remove the bits of paper.f you have a laser printermag-glass_10x10.gif, inspect the printer's paper rollers. They should be smooth but not shiny. Rollers that are cracked or glazed are a frequent cause of paper jams and should be replaced by a technician.
5. if you have a laser printer, try cleaning the printer's paper rollers with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol (available atelectronics shops or drugstore.Try changing the toner or ink cartridge.

Says document is in queue and don't print

Step 1
Inspect the paper trays to make sure they are not overloaded. To determine if this is the problem, do a test print with only one piece of paper loaded in the paper tray. (If this turns out to be the problem, keep the paper tray half-full in the future.)
*
Step 2
Check that the type of paper being used falls within the printer manufacturer's recommendations. For example, paper designed for ink-jet printers doesn't necessarily work well in laser printers. High-quality, bonded paper will cause paper jams in some printers; look for bonded paper that is "laser and ink-jet compatible."

Step 3
If someone has recently printed labels on this printer, check to see if a label has come unglued from a sheet and become stuck inside the printer.
*
Step 4

*
Step 5

*
Step 6
If you have a laser printer, try cleaning the printer's paper rollers with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol (available at electronics shops or drugstores).
*
Step 7
Try changing the toner or ink cartridge.
*
Step 8
If you hear a clinking sound during printing, your printer probably has a broken gear and needs to be serviced by a technician.

My Dell 1100 keeps wrinkling and tearing the paper

Depending on wear the tear is at determines the issue. The wrinkling paper and the look of your printer sounds like some sort of fuser issue. Recycled paper is more likely to wrinkle and the grain can cause paper to wrinkle as well. The Long grain paper is up and down the sheet and short gain is side to side on a sheet of paper. If your printer is on a long grain setting and you have the pages coming out sides ways or vice versa then your print outs can wrinkle.

Error 13-jam paper HP Laser 4+

HP LaserJet 4, 4m, 4 Plus and 4m Plus Series Printers - False Error Message 13 PAPER JAM ISSUE: After clearing all jammed paper from the HP LaserJet 4, 4m, 4 Plus, or 4m Plus series printer, the display still reads 13 Paper Jam . Even after cycling the power off and then back on, the error remains. SOLUTION: Open the rear door of the printer. There is a paper sensor near the upper right hand corner of the fusing assembly (just below the right edge of the long yellow warning sticker on the fuser) that can cause paper jam error messages even when there is no jammed paper in the printer. Toggle the thin black plastic lever up and down to make sure it is not stuck or sticky. The lever should be in the down position before closing the back of the printer. If the lever is stuck or missing, the printer will generate a false paper jam message. Hope it will help you !

Repeated paper jam in fuser

Fuser's orange roller is not meant to be wrinkled, if this is then I would recommend you replace it (just slides out) pic below
b4eead5.jpg If printing on card, you need to feed via manual bypass and exit from the back, not on the top, aka the "face up tray." Tray pulls out from rear. Rear tray will only stack a few card sheets at once.

Setting on printer's control panel must be set to card/heavy paper type on manual bypass tray

Their may still be some card in fuser causing jams.

Please rate as FIxya or post back,
Cheers
S. :-)

Phaser 7700GX Color Printer prints wrinkled pages!

when this occurs the problem is most of the time with the transport roller, fuser / fixing assembly roller.question is the image still toner only and not fused to the paper.
In these areas there is offen a jammed and not removed piece of paper dislodged in the paper path or jammed in the fuser or the transfer rollers teflon coating has perished inspect the areas carefully and remove any found if the unit still is faulty (fanning of paper the fuser would be the first to be replaced are past there usable life) if so then Post a reply
