Question about KitchenAid KEBC107 Electric Single Oven

1 Answer

Oven lights Oven light was replaced with a higher wattage bulb than the 1.5. Light worked for a moment and then went out. Light was then changed with correct wattage bulb but the light will not turn on with the switch or when the door opens. Is there a reset button or some other way to reset the system so the lights will work?

The light of the easy bake won't turn on

Take a working lamp and plug it in to the electric outlet you plugged the oven into and make sure it's ok.

There is nothing in the instructions if a light-bulb is used, it does say heating element but there is nothing on how to change anything.

The instructions don't tell you anything but how to use.

If you can return it, do it as fast as you can. If you can't you are going to have to call Hasbro.

So sorry I couldn't be more help.

If you don't get somebody that owns this to respond just post it again, if you don't want to return it and want someone who has it to respond.

Because the door does not open, has no door, the only place I would think of is the bottom might have a access panel.

Have someone see if it has a panel that can be opened and look inside for a bulb and check to see what size and wattage, then make sure you use a appliance oven bulb.

Replace light in KEMC378KSS microwave

The oven lights are 12-volt, 5-watt maximum halogen bulbs. They
will come on when the oven door is opened. On double oven
models, both upper and lower lights will come on when either
door is opened. The oven lights will not work during the Self-
Cleaning cycle. When the oven door is closed, press OVEN
LIGHT to turn them on or off.
To Replace:
Before replacing, make sure the oven is off and cool.
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove glass light cover by grasping the front edge and
pulling away from oven

3. Remove bulb from socket.
4. Replace bulb, replace bulb cover by snapping back into wall.
5. Reconnect power.

Correct wattage bulb in Simpson La Scala electric oven.

if you are refering to the light inside the oven, I dont think there is a problem with wattage as the oven is rates to high wattage
and it is also inside the oven, so in an area that can cope with heat.

if possible check remove the old bulb and check the wattage on the glass or on the side of the fitting.

I personally would recommend that a 40W should be suitable.

I hope this was useful

Replace light bulb

Hello. Unscrew the bad bulb. It unscrews in a counter clockwise fashion. Get a new oven bulb, of the same wattage at home depot or most hardware stores. J.

Replace oven light

If the metal sleeve that the bulb screws into is damaged, you can go to a local appliance repair shop for a replacement. Be sure to unplug the stove before doing any work on it. you will need the make and model of your oven to make sure you get the right part.
In the future, if the bulb detachs from the base on any light you have, 1) disconnect the power, 2) using a small wooden dowel or the plastic handle of a screwdriver that will fit inside the base, apply enough pressure while turning to remove the base. Good Luck.

How do I change the light bulb in the oven

You can replace the light bulb(s) in your range/oven, though you may need to remove a glass covering or dome to reach it. Most interior oven lights use a universal 40 watt appliance bulb.

Kenmore oven model # 79071053400

Check for a loose bulb or faulty door switch. Sometimes a bulb can fail and the filament can reconnect to work at a higher wattage before failing completely.
