Reinsert cassette

-   Every time I insert the tape, it loads and flashes "Reinsert the cassette" !!!! I've tried new cassettes... same old readout C:31:23. HELP!!!-   bern2bewild

-   I bought a head cleaner tape.  It will not "play" in my handycam.  I've tried reseting and whacking it. Nothing. I still get the 31:22 message, I think that was the number.  If I press reset while the cleaning tape is in, I get a tape is locked message.  I will try the recommended tape cleaner later today since I have a standard Radio Shack one now. Hopefully that works because now the pictures are not showing up/playing on my camcorder at all.  Before I just had the 5 horizontal gray lines! Now nothing! I don't think I'll be buying a Sony again. I haven't even had this camera a year!-   tiav

-   Reinsert cassete errors - tried to reset - still not working. Bought casette cleaner - but handycam will not accept the casette. Any other solutions out there? Thanks in advance!-   lewyincs
