transfer music to your phone Before you copy files to your phone, make sure the files are in a format that the phone recognizes. Your phone’s music player can play the following types of audio files: AAC, AAC+, MP3. To prepare your phone to receive music files: 1 Insert a memory card into your phone (see page 11). 2 Set your phone to Mass Storage mode by going to - >Settings > USB > Mass Storage.
You can't put songs that you have bought from apple. You can put songs that you have riped from CD's or downloaded. You need a micro SD card. On the phone go into options: Advance Options, Media Card. Turn mass storage mode on. Now plug your BB into the computer and a little window will open up. open the Blackberry folder then music. Drop and drag your music files into that folder. if your going to use the Desktop software go to google and type: Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.5. This version comes with a media manager.

This occurs when you have connected the Handset to the PC and removed it before disconnecting it from the PC safely and while there is an ongoing data transfer. Connect to PC again, delete all music files, again transfer music files from PC to external memory, safely disconnect and then try hearing music. It will work. Try it out
