We have French door refrigerator, Frigadaire. We have replaced the water filter and the ice making machine. We are not getting any ice. We hear it running but no ice. What else could we check?

Is water entering the ice cube tray in icemaker? If not check the water solenoid for operation. Also make sure that freezer temp is at least 10 degrees or less. If not cold enough the ice maker thermostat will not cycle the ice maker for operation.

Can i remove the shelves in frigadaire frezzer model frs6r4eq4

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you want to know if you can remove the freezer shelves in your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS6R4EQ4. All the shelving in your freezer is fixed, however the bottom shelf, which is located on top of the freezer basket, should flip up to allow more room for tall items that you wish to store in the freezer basket. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

How do you remove icemaker to check if water tube is frozen?

the ice maker is finished. get the ice maker model number and refrgerator model number and buy/ install a new one. It would be a good idea to replace the electric water valve to the ice maker as well.

Fan is loud, no ice and the inside of freezer has ice forming GSS22QDMD BB model number

Hi welcome to fix-ya. Your problem is the icemaker is leaking. You see a ice under icemaker? I would change icemaker and replace watervalve. Also use a hairdryer to remove all ice from box. I hope this helps.

Loud noise from JD-21 ice maker

Usually a stripped gear or a bad icemaker motor. Remove the icemaker front cover by using a flat screwdriver to pry it off between the bottom of the icemaker and the cover. Inspect the icemaker to see if the large white plastic gear has any broken teeth or is cracked in the middle. The motor is in the 10:00 position of the white gear. If the gear is ok, and the noise is coming from the motor, replace the motor.
After unplugging the refrigerator you can remove the motor assembly by removing three screws in the mounting plate, and then two screws holding the motor on. The parts house also sells the complete icemaker, however your refrigerator is already 29 years old if I am reading your model number correctly. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

How to replace alumalastic in u-line icemaker

Not all U-lines have alumalastic under their icemaker. What model do you have? Alumalastic will come with the icemaker with directions on how to put it on. It's a caulking material that is spread under the icemaker to cover the heater and sensor tube. If you remove your icemaker you should see it if it needs it.

Replacing icemaker in GE GSH25JSTE side by side refrigerator.

generally its very easy. for your model it looks like the icemaker goes across the rear of the freezer section. if you will look on the left hand wall on the icemaker you will see a philips head screw remove this screw and pull the icemaker towards you and it will come out then unplug the wiring harness (this is probably the hardest part) there are 2 clips that keep the harness connected securley and you sometimes have to use a small blade screw driver to release them. onec icemaker is removed you have to remove the fill cup and the end stop off of the icemaker and reinstall on the new icemaker. one done just reinstall and turn it on. youre done!! BTW the new icemaker mostlikely will not have the green light the old one did so dont think youve got the wrong icemaker.. let me know if you need any further help Thanks Peyton

Frigadaire front load washer, drum is very low in

Is the drum bouncing around?
Remove the front lower panel and the top from the cabinet. Replace the shocks and/or tub support springs if they are broken.
If the spin is noisy, there might be a problem with the inner basket or the tub bearing.
Good luck!
