Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Your printer is actually complaining about the print head and not the individual ink cartridges. There is a known problem with the cartridge clogging up and overheating when many CDs are printed.
First try to remove and reseat the actual print head: remove the ink cartridges first, then pull up the grey lever and take out the print head. Check for visual damage and/or clean but be careful with this.
Reseat the cartridge, put the ink tanks back in.
If this does not result in a working printer, order a new printhead from your local supplier.
