Actually if your a new user, its not so silly of a question. There are many ways to "download" pictures, but the simplest way is when you see a picture you want to save on your computer, you put your mouse curser over that pictures image and "right click" your mouse. That will bring up a menu, now roll your mouse down the menu and when you are over "save picture as", click the "left side" of your mouse (the one you usually click), and your computer will open another window which is the file folder it automatically wants to put the picture in (usually My Pictures folder). Now type the name of the picture you want to give it, and then press enter. Keep the name simple, and before you push enter, look and see what file its being saved into, so when you want to see or use the picture, you go to My computer, My pictures and it should be there. One word of caution. Many pictures/images are copywrited, so keep this in mind when using them. Also, there are free Picture gallery sites, that you can go on and search to find certain images that are user free. You can google free web art to find some. Hope that helps.
