Question about Iomega 33089 250 GB Hard Drive
It is an Iomega driive in a white metal case. It has no other identifocation on it then the following : P/N 31641200
Assembled in Thailand
There is nothing else on it other that the sockets and the on/off switch and a blue light on the front.
I purchased it from Staples, they cannot advise me as they say that don't hold specs. of this nature.
Can anyone help as I want to have 7200 rpm as specified by Pinnacle video editing as if I us e slower that 7200 I loose frames in the editing process.
Many thanks for any help.
It's a PATA (not sata) hard drive enclosure...and yes you can have a 7200 rpm or even a 10k one inside. Most likely, the one inside would be 7200 rpm. You can verify this easily by connecting to the PC and going to the device manager--> disk drives and there it will be shown as a usb drive or something like that. Make a note of the Hard Drive serial number and do a google check to find out more about the drive inside.
Hope this helps
