Re: i cant send nor receive pictures
Hi Kim, Contact your provider and ask them to send you there WAP and MMS settings, usually when you recieve theese you switch off your phone, power it back up and YOU need to send a picture to activate the MMS settings with your provider. Good Luck!

with an MMS-enabled phone you can: Take digital photographs and store photographs on the Internet Send and receive full colour pictures Send and receive voice clips Add a text message to your picture Purchase pictures and sounds from the Internet Have enhanced polyphonic ringtones MMS runs over GPRS. You normally need to subscribe to a GPRS tariff, and have 'Media Messaging' enabled by your network operator. You will need a phone handset that supports the MMS service - If you receive an MMS message and don't have a suitable handset or GPRS service, you'll receive a standard SMS text message, and will be able to view the message at the web address included with the text message.
I've been doing some research on your problem of not being able to receive MMS messages (pictures) on your phone. There are a couple of reasons why you may not be able to. I'll list them in order:
1) Your cellular provider may not have MMS activated for your phone. Contact your provider and ask if MMS is enabled on your line. a) If they tell you, no - it is not currently enabled, then ask them to enable it for you. b) If they tell you, yes - it is currently enabled, ask to speak to someone in Tech Support. Inform Tech Support that you are not receiving MMS messages but instead, an 'Unknown Subscriber' message although you have MMS currently activated on your line. Most Tech Support Departments can send a 'packet' to your phone that you will simply click on when you receive it - and download it on your phone. That should solve the problem.
There is one more problem I discovered. If the picture you are sent is too large for your phone's screen to display you might also receive this, 'Unknown Subscriber' message.
Regardless, your first call should be to your cellular provider to ask assistance with your MMS settings.
There can be a few reasons for the problem you are experiencing. What I would suggest you do is this:
Reset the wap and mms settings via your service provider. You do this by phoning them from the phone and telling them you want to reset these settings. They will send you a message with this and you merely save the NEW settings.
see the thing is that for receiving and sending pictures from ur mobile via messaging option, for that u need to get ur mms service activated and after that get the mms setings from ur service provider. U need to ensure that tthing also that same mms service & setings should be available at othr end also. After that u will be able to send & receive mms from that particular no.
