Clean instructions

I presume you are requesting instructions for cleaning this coffeemaker...

With the coffeemaker off (either a red blinking light or no light on), pour four cups of pure white vinegar (no water added) into the reservoir. Remove any filters, but leave the strainer basket in place. Tap the "select" button three times until the red light is on (and stays on, not blinking). The cleaning cycle now begins. It should take between 45 minutes and an hour to complete. Don't be concerned about the 30-minute long pause during the cycle when nothing happens. This is intentional and part of the cycle.

After the cleaning cycle has completed, get rid of the vinegar. Rinse out the strainer basket and the coffee pot. Run a full pot of clean water thru a regular brew cycle (with the pot and basket in place, of course). Then, dump the water, rinse the pot and basket again, and run another full pot of clean water thru a regular brew cycle. Dump that water too. And, you're done!

Model # jwx23 mr coffee cleaning instructions

I couldn't find any model JWX23. So, since your question (as much as it is) is categorized under model JWX27, I'm going to presume you need the cleaning instructions for model JWX27.

With the coffeemaker off (with no lights on or with the red light blinking), pour four cups of pure white vinegar (no water added) into the reservoir. Don't short the amount. You'll need four cups to complete the cycle.

We ran the clean cycle on the coffee maker and the clean cycle will not turn off.

First, let me clarify what the red light indicates. A solid red light indicates the cleaning cycle is in progress. A blinking red light indicates the coffeemaker is off, but is due to be cleaned.

The red light will continue to blink while the coffeemaker is off until the cleaning cycle has been completed fully. The process takes about an hour and a half and is not intuitive. So, here are my instructions.

With the coffeemaker off (with the red light blinking), pour four cups of pure white vinegar (no water added) into the reservoir. Don't short the amount. You'll need four cups to complete the cycle.

Lost instruction manual. How do I clean coffee maker to get rid of strong acid taste coffee? MoldelB60 single cup coffee maker

Most coffee pots are cleaned by running 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water. Just put in the reservoir and run a cycle. Once completed, run again with 1/2 pot of water only and it will clean it. If you use your pot daily, this should be done once every few months. If you have foul tasting coffee, you should use bottled water to rectify that. Plain tap water has minerals that dilute the taste of the coffee and over time build a residue in your pot.

Had the same issue. You have to let it run a cleaning cycle before before the light goes off. Turn machine off, empty pot, add 4 cup cleaning solution and hit the clean button (not the brew button). Let it go through this slow cycle like it says in the manual and it should reset itself.

The heater element is receiving no voltage. This is likely to be a failed thermal fuse which is normally welded to one end of the heater element making it necessary to replace the heater assembly. These thermal fuses are now made (apparently exclusively) in China and are of miserable quality. These are constructed to melt open (inside) when a design temperature is reached. Most of them seem to fail when they feel like it, regardless of temperature.
We once lost two identical coffee makers in three days due to this problem and took a refund instead of a third pot.

I've lost my manual for the Oster coffee maker model 3314-33 and the red "Clean" button keeps flashing after the coffee has brewed. Where can I download a manual so I can figure out how to fix this...

Pot needs cleaning. Fill reservoir with 4 cups of vinegar. Press the SELECT button until the red CLEAN indicator light turns on. Let it perk through. It will take 45-60 minutes. It brews a few cups, stops and then should brew the remainder of the vinegar. When the cycle is complete the light will burn off and the coffeemaker will turn off. Discard vinegar solution and run a couple of pots of clear water through. Hope this helps.

Unplug the coffee pot and push in the "1-4" and "TSB" buttons at the same time, hold the buttons in for a few seconds. This will reset the pot and you should be able to brew like normal after that.
