This is a problem most likely found in programs like Skype. Whatever program you are trying to use will need to be uninstalled and reinstalled to fix this issue.
WEBcam image problem Most WEBcams have a setting to mirror or turn the image upside down etc. Go to your WEBcam setting to set your image back to normal.
Basically this should only be a proper driver installation/re-installation. Or you may try the below options
A) Look for the snp2uvc.inf file. Open it with notepad. Look for the entry...
HKR, DefaultSettings,Flip,0x00010001,0 - and - HKR,Settings,Flip,0x00010001,0
Change the last digit (zero) to a "1". Save the file and re-install your driver manually from the device manager. You need to choose the driver. Reboot and your video should be now in the correct orientation.
B) Inside the ASUS drivers folder there should be a software called tsnp2std.exe. Open your camera then run this application. An icon on the system tray will appear. Click on it and select Open Property Page. There you should be able to configure the setting.
C) Download the latest webcam driver for your Asus. But first, you need to know what driver you need. There are free software that detects makers of the webcam installed on your computer for proper downloading of your needed driver.
If by upside down you mean that the image you see on the screen is inverted, then the settings of the webcam have been tampered with. When you launch your web cam, you would see the 'settings' option. Then select 'camera/image'. You would see the 'rotate' option. Rotate the image until it is erect. Also, if there is a 'flip' option, select flip vertically to make the image erect.
I hope that has fixed your problem? Have a wonderful day.
