There's a vertical blue line running from top to bottom at about 1/3 from the left of the screen which becomes invisible in dark colored picture screen. It looks like there's a selection of colored pixel that won't show up on the screen and it make viewing very annoying. Do you have any idea what can cause this and how much to fix it?

Re: Vertical blue line
Afraid this most likely is a panel failer and the only way to repair it will be to replace the panel. Only a very small amount of cases is it the actual plug that conects the panel to the Y board, and if you are not experanced in these plugs you most likley will make it worse

If under warranty then of course use that. This is a display problem. One solution someone knowledgeable in electronics can try. This problem can be caused by a bad connection fitting of the flat cables on LCD controller board. Dis-connect the flat cables from the LCD controller(T-CON) and carefully reconnect them. Try the unit before reassembling the back cover. You may have to disconnect/reconnect several times to show improvements if this is the problem.
