Question about Hyundai ImageQuest HPT-4250H Television
There's a vertical blue line running from top to bottom at about 1/3 from the left of the screen which becomes invisible in dark colored picture screen. It looks like there's a selection of colored pixel that won't show up on the screen and it make viewing very annoying. Do you have any idea what can cause this and how much to fix it?
My TV set is noly 1 1/2 years old.
I just had one given to me with the same proplem. My friend found a bad soilder joint on one of IC chips. He just had to put a drop of soilder on it.

Afraid this most likely is a panel failer and the only way to repair it will be to replace the panel. Only a very small amount of cases is it the actual plug that conects the panel to the Y board, and if you are not experanced in these plugs you most likley will make it worse
