Problem for Gateway DC-T50 Digital Camera

The screen will only show "Format Error" iin all modes.
I cannot take pictures or see past pics (If they are still there...)
I would like to know how to fix this problem, and be able to use the camera, but more importantly, I would like to retrieve/save the pictures.

- It would be nice if this site told you there was a charge and what it would be BEFORE you sign in, etc.

- I have the same format error, even after emptying pictures off the card. Usually, we just have that problem when the card is full.- Guest

Check memory card from computer with card reader.
If that doesn`t help.
Try formatting memory card from camera or from computer (it will destroy data on card).
Most likely your pictures are alredy lost.

The memory card has been corrupted. This can occur when transfering pictures to your computer or if the camera batteries died while saving a picture. Try another memory card. If it works then try formatting the original card.
