Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Label printing Had the 5610 for about 11 months up to now i have had perfect printing on labels for L7160 size. For unkown reason print on labels starts above the top of the label meaning its part cut off. No settings have been changed, I even tried useing different brands of lables. Its liek the printer isn't pulling the sheet in far enough before it starts printing - any ideas

If you don't change your settings this is the problem of your printer hardware. Just open the printer & you can see a long rod & some devices fitted in the both end of the printing area it called carrage Assembly. there you can see two small clip it is the device of mergine settings change it as you like. If it won't work for a single time try to do this in many combination.

Kodak printer will not print on avery label paper. Have been on teck support with anurag s for about an hour and tried again to print labels.

Hi , i have been using avery templates and label paper at work for ages and always printed off without problems on my lexmark . I bought a Kodak however and all of a sudden I could no longer print off my labels , when I put paper in it just came out blank and said paper wrong size .I could not find any solutions at all and was tearing my hair out . I just kept trying different things and all of a sudden I changed a setting and it worked perfectly. When you go to print your label change the ' scale to paper size ' function to A4 and then it will print.
hope this helps

When printing 1 label it will print but 5 blanks shoot out behind

Different reasons.
- the size of the label is wrong.
- You are writing too low on the label( too near the edge)
- You have to recalibrate the gap sensor.

I have a Zebra Z4M printer. We use it to print on various labels - pre-printed and blank labels (semi-gloss). I've been struggling to print on one of the pre-printed labels. Everything else prints...

some labels are hard to calibrate, nee to calibrate the sensors with manual calibration.
1} go to the MEDIA AND RIBBON CALIBRATION,
2}take 2 or 3 labels from the base paber, load the way to the based paper stay unther the sensors, 3}close printhead.
4} press ok.
5} Move the ribbon out from sensors and close the printhead.
6) press ok
7) wen printer ask RELOAD ALL, load the labels correcly and the ribbon, close the printhead and the top door, and press ok. The printer run the calibration it self.
wen finish, saved (press setub twice) and test.

When trying to print Avery Labels L7160 the top few labels print within each label 'frame' BUT towards the end of the page the labels are printed further up and therefore are out of the label 'frames' ALSO...

For Word 2007/Word 2010
1- Click on the Office button
2- Select Print then Print again.
3- In the Zoom section make sure 'Scale to paper size' is set to 'A4'
4- Click on the Properties button.
5- Click on the Paper / Quality tab, then click on Advanced.
6- In the Paper/ Output section it has Paper size. To the right you have a drop down menu . Make sure A4 is selected and not letter, then click on OK.

3- There may also be other options in your printing preferences such as 'Print Area', 'Scale to Fit Page Size' or 'Page Margins. These will all need to be set correctly for your design to print 100% e.g. Print Area set to Maximum, Scale to fit Page Size disabled and Page Margins set to Minimized.

Some printers ( for example Epson printers ) have a 'Reduce /Enlarge' facility that defaults to 94% or 97% (instead of 100%). To set this to 100% click the 'Layout' tab and in the 'Reduce/Enlarge' section select 'Custom' you should then be able to change the scaling to 100%.

Prints larger that print preview shows...

Firstly make sure your using the correct drive ZM400 rather than Z4M. if you are using the applications driver make sure of headers and footers sizes and the print area is set correctly. If your using odd sized lables download some new drivers from the Nice Label website, they are far more adjustable that the standard Zebra drivers.

Can't print labels

I found out that each time you print from the manual load tray, i.e. letters and labels, once you have the paper in the manual load tray press print and then press the demo button to start the manual feed. I hope this helps.

Hi,
open the related word document.
select 1 line above the Text in question, press enter twice.
That way, the text will drop by 2 lines.
try a test page on this, alternatively try using a different label layout, until you get the desired result.
Other than the AveryL7160.
