Trya hard reset, you may lose data
try holding down the power
remove the back cover and battery
(at this point briefly let up on the power)
remove the sim card
wait for "insert sim card" message
reinsert sim card and battery
release power key when the splash screen comes up

1. Reboot your Motorola CLIQ with an unaccepted SIM card in.
*If the display reads "Enter Special Code", enter the unlock code and press "OK"
*If the display does not read "Enter Special code":
2. Press and hold the * key until an entry box is displayed.
3. Type *, #, 3, 2, # and press "OK"
4. Enter your Motorola CLIQ's unlock code and press "OK."
5. Your Motorola CLIQ should now display either "Completed" or "Deleted"
