Question about Nikon D50 Digital Camera with Nikkor AF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED DX Lens
Hi there, my 18-55 nikkon lens dosnt seem to want to autofocus. theres a flashing sign which says f-- where the iso display should be. this also means no iso controll. can anyone help?
That usually indicates that the lens is not communicating with the camera. The contacts on the mount side of the lens may be damaged or dirty. If cleaning the contacts with an eraser doesn't solve the issue, you might want to try another lens to see if the camera is at fault. If the camera checks okay with another lens, then it is likely the the lens needs a new circuit board
