How do i load a34bit onto a 64 bit system ?

Normally, a 32-bit program will run fine on a 64-bit system. However, a 64-bit program will not run on a 32-bit system. In a 64-bit system, there are sometimes two directories for program files, one for 32-bit programs and one for 64-bit programs.

If you are trying to load a 32-bit operating system over a 64-bit operating system, I think you loose everything on the 32-bit system, so make sure that you backup all your files. Another alternative would be to make a dual boot system, where when it boots up, you have the choice of going into the 32-bit system or the 64-bit system.

Good luck,

Paul

Is your system running 64-bit or 32-bit? To find this out, press "start", right click on "computer", then click "properties". There it will specify your "system type" (64-bit or 32-bit). There is no Flash Player for 64-bit Web Browswers available yet. If your computer is running 64-bit, you should try using the 32-bit Internet Explorer (can be found in your list of programs in the start menu).

Pixels only goes to 640X480

When you cannot increase the screen resolution nor a higher color bit, this usually means the video driver has defaulted to standard VGA driver and 8 or 16 bit color.
Install or re-install the latest video driver for your model video card.
When the correct video driver is installed you will be able to change the screen resolution and 32 color bit.

IE 32-bit browser need to run on my 64-bit browser

Hi buddy323,

You will find the 32 bit browser on your Vista installation disk. Or your restore CD from Dell.

If you can't find it there, you can download it HERE. Or may want to go for the IE version 8.

Good Luck and don't forget to leave a rating.

Thanks Mark
