Taking photos in low light can be camera shake.
Take a series of images in varying light conditions, if you are still in trouble then there is a focusing problem,
Consider also how you hold the camera- are your fingers covering the focus window?
Are you allowing the camera to focus by pushing the release partway down thus allowing the focus to activate then fully to click the shutter.
Consider all these thing be fore the next step

It is the camera shake. Try using a tripod or higher ISO.

This is a lens fault.
KODAK recommends a repair in this case it might be a better option to chose a trade up where KODAK offeres to exchange your existing model with a brand new model for a favorable price.

What is the real cause of blurd image when camera is in auto focus

Blurry images can become the source of disappointments especially for photography enthusiasts and this problem can be associated with the following problems:
  1. The camera may be out of focus
  2. Subject is in motion while the shutter is open
  3. The camera is moving while the shutter is open
  4. The depth of field is too shallow
These factors can result to low quality images and now that you are already aware of it, I am surely hoping that you will be able to come up with the best pictures! :)

I did not use my camera for 3 months when i get it to use the picture is blurd. even the screen is not ok there is like fire. i tried to format and reset the factory setting but still doesn't work.

Hi,

I am sorry to hear regarding the trouble. This is a common problem on these models. It is either a faulty CCD sensor or LCD panel. If this is a problem while taking new images, however old images are still perfect - this indicates a problem with CCD sensor unless this is an indication of faulty LCD panel. Unfortunately, in both situations, repair is never advisable as the cost of repair would be high as compared to cost of the camera. It would be wise to invest in new camera. Be advised that if it is faulty CCD sensor, there were few recalls in the past for old models. So, it would be worth giving a call to their customer service and ask whether there is any recall or not. If not, they might offer a replacement in lieu of this camera at a highly discounted price.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

THE LCD PICTURE IS CLEAR AND WHEN I PUSH THE BUTTON TO SHOT, IT STARTED TO BLURD THE PICTURE AT LCD AND PICTURE RESULT ALSO IS BLURD.

Hi chicbenzon_1 ,

The LCD picture is clear indicates that the lens is clear enough to capture the image, if there would be any disturbance on the lens you would come to know on the LCD itself.

When you push the button to shoot , it could be that you are pressing the button just half way which is a function used to focus on the object before full press of the button or actual shot of the image.

I would recommend you to half press the button till you focus on your image and then when your hands are steady and there is no shake on the camera , go ahead and press the button full which would result in the image being taken.

Hope this helps ...:)

1. how do I reset to the camera default settings (Coolpix S3000) 2. When taking a picture, there is a 5-7 second delay before the pic is displayed on the camera viewing screen - -why?

The delay time from the instant the pictures is taken to the time it's displayed on your LCD is probably due to the image size/quality. Your camera has been set to make the maximum quality of picture suitable for printing which is not a bad thing. It's giving you the best performance it can. You don't have to wait for the picture to load to the LCD before taking another picture as the camera will temporary store the images in what is called a buffer while it's writing to the memory card. It's possible you could have up to a 5 or 6 image burst from that camera. If you want to default to factory settings. Turn the control dial to set up and

The pictures are coming out pink and fuzzy

Does this problem appear on the LCD only or on the printed pictures and the LCD?
Is this on all the pictures or just in certain SCN?

If you have the settings on AUTO the camera will automatically adjust to what it thinks will make the best picture.
Try and use the SCN.
You can also switch the flash on and off as you wish.

You are looking at two different monitors with different settings. In most cases you will need to do some editing yourself on your computer because of the difference. Or the brightness can be done in a lab.
