Question about Alcatel Newbridge MainStreet 3600 Multiplexer
We use Alcatel Mainstreet 3600 Bandwidth Manager.
We have DCC cards(V.24 RS232) installed for RTU data polling.
For new RTUs we had to enable new DCC port.
When we make cross connection between DCC port & E1(64kbps channel)
the corresponding LED of DCC does not glow and the ckt is not established.
For example we did the following:-
ckt Name Type ckt Name Type
A4-04 RTU-5 RS-232 A2-13 PowerStation E1 NoSig
(DCC Protected by A1-13 Do E1 NoSig
card No. 4 (E1 card
Port No. 4) channel no. 13)
However the LCT software shows the cross-connect is done
Any assistance will be appreciated
You have to forced ON the DCC lead on Config - Circuit - Options - CtrlLeads.
