You have some viruses and malware.

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE programs below.

How To Remove A Virus From Your Computer

Requirements: On an uninfected PC connected to the Internet, download the following programs to a thumbdrive. We will need this to fix the infected computer.
Instructions:
  1. Shut down the computer as soon as you realize there is a problem. Pop-ups, program errors, dll errors, fake Anti-Virus scanners, and similar are signs there is a problem. Shut down the computer normally, or hold the power button in until the computer shuts off.
  2. Power on the computer, and hit F8 before the Windows Startup screen appears. Select Safe Mode.
  3. Login if asked to, if not select Yes to continue.
  4. Click on the Start menu, select Run, type msconfig and press Ok, or type msconfig into the Start menu search box and press Enter.
  5. Under the General tab, select Diagnostic Startup. Press Apply.
  6. Under the Services tab, check the Hide All Microsoft Services box, and uncheck any services you don't recognize in the window.
  7. Under the Startup tab, select Disable All. Press Apply and Ok.
  8. Don't restart the computer yet.
  9. The System Restore Utility backs up selected files automatically to the Restore folder. Quite often are infected files stored there as backup files, and many Virus Scanners are unable to delete these files. If you suspect your computer may be infected, it is recommended that you disable the System Restore Utility to remove the infected files from the Restore folder.Select your OS for directions on how to disable the System Restore Utility - XP, Vista, 7
  10. While in Safe Mode, insert your USB thumbdrive and open it in My Computer.
  11. Open Combofix.exe, select Ok when it asks. Let Combofix scan and remove any infections it finds. It should restart the computer when it is done. When it restarts, boot up into Windows normally.
  12. Login if asked to, open your thumbdrive in My Computer again, and run Combofix.exe once more.
  13. Open up SmitFraudFix.exe from your thumbdrive. Press any key to continue when asked. Type 2, and press enter. When the scan is complete, restart your computer.
  14. If you had a fake Anti-Virus Scanner infection, open up Remove Fake Antivirus.exe from your thumbdrive. Press Start, and press Yes. When the scan and removal is Complete, restart the computer again.
  15. Install Microsoft Security Essentials, or your choice of Anti-Virus Software when the computer returns back to the desktop.
  16. Restart if asked to, and when the computer restarts, run a Full Scan in Microsoft Security Essentials.

How do I restart the whole system to out of the box state? My daughter has various viruses and cannot do ANYTHING, the computer shuts itself down now.

youll need a recovery disc. you can obtain one from your computer company's website for e.g. if you have an hp pavillion goto hp.com downloads and support and look for recovery discs. youll have two options you can either download the software from the website onto a disc or you can have one delivered. once you have the cd insert the disc and restart the computer. press any key to boot from cd and follow the steps.

EACH TIME I AM ON THE INTERNET ON MY PC IT SHUTS DOWN FOR NO REASON, MY SON HAS A LAPTOP ON AT THE SAME TIME, HIS STAYS ON . THE ROUTER IS DOWNSTAIRS WITH THE LAPTOP + THE PC IS UPSTAIRS ?

There could be and issue with what is call collision which is rare but happens when the router is located in a spot where both computer are use at the same time but the most dominantly used computer will take up the bandwidth and the other computer will be shut down to restart.
Another issue may be a virus in the system.
Gaming sites or place on the internet that are scanned with your anti virus software will cause shutdown. To protect the PC. Usually you will get a warning that "this site is unknown" and the PC will go into shut down due to the firewall settings.
1. check the location of the router and see if you can relocate the router to the upper floor.
2. check your sons computer for viruses
3. scan your computer also
4. Download a program call Ccleaner for registry cleaning. this is found with a Google search for the official site. This program usually will clean you "temp, file, history and etc if set properly. Instruction how to use is on the site and in the program.
5. check your anti virus software settings

Firstly, disconnect your PC from the Internet AND shut the PC down.

This is incase it has a virus that is causing the problem.

Using another computer download SpyBot Search and Destroy from the Internet.

To do this you will need a USB Stick and another computer with an internet connection.

1. Navigate to SpyBot.com.
2. Pick your Language.
3. Click the SpyBot Search and Destroy link under the heading Products.
4. Click the Download icon adjacent to the SpyBot Search and Destroy application.
5. Select the destination to save the Application to. This will be the name of your USB stick.
6. Then click the Download icon adjacent to the Detection Updates and save them also to the USB stick.

Whilst you are on SpyBot's website, navigate around the site and see how to use the software.

Essentially, when the virus is particularly malicious you need to run an application that can detect the virus, and the PC should not be connected to the internet. You will also need to run the PC in SAFE Mode.

Consult with your PC's website (ACER, DELL, HP etc...) to find out what button to press to put it into SAFE Mode as you power on the PC. Some PC's it is F8.

You will need to turn on the PC and then press the appropriate button. Select the option to start the PC in SAFE Mode.

When started up connect the USB Stick.

Navigate to the USB Stick and Run the SpyBot Application from the Stick.

NOTE this will take some time to do depending on the amount of programs and files on your PC.

If SpyBot finds Malware etc.., get rid of it.

Note: When your PC is free of viruses then you can copy the SpyBot application to your PC along with the Detection Files. Then you can open SpyBot and set it up for Auto Scanning. Then, you can re-connect to the Internet.

I hope this helps. Regards,
