If just the plastic screen is cracked, and it hasn't affected any of the LCD screen underneath, you could take a stab at removing it.
I would not recommend it, though. In order to access that panel, you have to remove the back, remove the boards and free up the panel. As it is, the LCD panel is one sealed piece, and getting at that sheet of plastic would be nightmarish.
Now, if by cracked you mean that you have cracked areas of the screen, showers of pixels, whole swaths of black and white and other colors. You know, that kind of beautiful sparkle that can only be made by the flying WiiMote, then you need to replace the LCD panel. And for your 32"--given the cost of replacement--the repair would not be worth the expense.
