Question about Denon AVR-1804 Receiver
I been using my denon amp for 2 years now and yesterday While I was watching a movie the sound went POP! and the amp went into standby mode.
I let it cool down and turned it back on and it goes striaght into standby,I then turned it on via the remote and it starts to work normally but after a few seconds goes back to standby.
I tried holding down the A& B buttons but still reverts back to stand by
How much should this problem cost to get diagnosed & fixed??

Unit is in protect mode there are a few problems that can trigger protect mode the most common is blown channel (shorted outputs). Sometimes one of the 15v regulators may go bad causing imbalance of supplys triggering protect mode. Also sometimes a bad solder connection could cause unit to go into protect also. I work for Denon authorzied repair center in Michigan if your nearby and Shipping to Michigan is economical let me know firstname.lastname@example.org
