TV fails to power up, standby light alternates green and amber

The problem lies with the power supply, my fault was with the 5volt output, which was closed circiut, to ground.
There is a kit for about £55, but i hear that these modules have a high fail rate. I did however find that the two output transistors were shorted also,
For a new module, sets back about £100+ (searching came back with one at £120 +PP,.
Is it worth it as a 26 LCD is roughly £150 new with warranty.

Try unplugging it for a couple of minutes to reset the tv then plug it in and see if it comes on if not you probably have a power supply problem.
