Question about Car Audio & Video
I have a Alpine CVA-1000E stereo and having problems powering up.All fuses are o/k and I have 12v power at the rear of the unit.Could you please supply me or tell me where I could get a wiring diagram for this unit.I have the owner's manual but there is nothing in that.

hi on what you have just told us go and get the same cables that you were using in the old car coz this wires are the ones ment for the screen i mean right holms,right jack pins for it . good luck .

make sure the handbrake wire is attached to a gd ground or it won,t allow you into the menu because it thinks its unsafe while the ignition is turned on !
its a yellow/blue striped wire that needs to be earthed !

Go to alpine .com and scroll to the bottom of the screen to support.Click on support then type in
cva-1003 and there you will get the manual for free.................................................!

what make of towbar wiring kit was fitted ? You can get a Whitter grey (S) fitting kit but this connects to their own black (N) wiring kit I would think any supplier of the N wiring should be able to supply a S kit.
