Problem for HP (355282-001) DVD+RW Burner

Please help! DVD-RW problem's really pissin' me off!

I'm Ron from the Philippines. I'm using a Windows Vista OS and my problem is that my dvd-rw can't read softwares written on dvd discs. I tried those discs on my Windows XP laptop and it works just fine. I get a message that says the disc needs to be formatted. Please help me out.

Normally one sees such message when trying to write to a cd/you could uninstall/reinstall the driver for the dvd-rw
