How to install web cam on asus ee pc - ASUS Eee PC 1000H Laptop

download cam software and driver and install it try it from asus web site with ur pc model number

drivers are not install. you have to install drivers. if you want i can install it online

You can download the LAN and device drivers from ASUS WEB site.Select your model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select driversthat matches your Windows operating system. you just need to install virtual cam then go to manycam dot com and download manycam install it and select video source your web cam
now you can broadcast your cam on everywhere like skype, yahoo, msn, gtalk etc
by select manycam as your primary cam

Any webcam will do as long as it has a USB cable to plug into your laptop.

Need start up disk that comes with web cam. Or go to web page specified needed to boot program.

First uninstall your web cam driver then install driver agagin then check .
If still it not works then your cam has some issue you need to repair it.

Have you tried to go to the ASUS web site to see if anyone else has had the same problems? The fourms usually are filled with other problems and how to fix them.

You will need to know which web cam, I think there are three different possibilities.

Some times BIOS disable webcam after updating it.

To enable it do the followings:

1. Restart your Eee PC.
2. Press F2 while booting (to enter BIOS sittings)
3. Go to "advanced" tab (by pressing right arrow)
4. Select "Onboard Device Configuration" (by pressing down arrow)
5. From there you can find if "Onboard Camera" is enabled or not.
6. If not, just press enter to pick "Enabled"
