Check the brand and model name of your motherboard first by exploring your computer case and check for a printed alphanumeric code and the brand icon and search in the internet for the drivers on your referenced motherboard

I formatted my pc and unknowingly that the motherboard drivers was lost , now in installed windows xp but dont know the drivers

As you have not mentioned the Make/ Model of the motherboard/ PC, I cannot send you the direct link.
But, in case you dont have the drivers - Dont worry, you can download the drivers from the internet for free. It requires a bit of googling or you can search the official support site of the motherboard manufacturer. E.g. www.intel.com, www.hp.com, etc. Search for the model of the Motherboard/ PC you have, select the Operating System (OS) and download the required drivers.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

You need to figure out what the brand of your motherboard is and go to their website and find the drivers you need for the specific motherboard that you have and download the drivers and install them. That's the easiest way to do it.

Motherboard Driver

Search for, and download a program called Aida32 (personal edition, which is shareware)

This program will tell you the make and model of your mainboard, and even suggest links for the drivers.

It's best to find out what board it is, then go to that manufacturer's website to download the drivers.

e.g: An Abit NF7 (my old board) would require me to go to www.abit.com
Gigabyte is www.gigabyte.com.tw
and so on...

No sound device detected..........

Go back to device manager. The devices that you see that have a problem. Right click on the device than un-install the device. You will need the motherboard's driver for these device. In order to find the correct device driver's I'll need the boards model number & any revision's. Than I can direct you to the correct download site. Above you state it's a Gigbyte. The more detailed information you post the better the driver.
