Remove Carb and clean and soak then blow out the jets. This is a common problem as they tend to set up with old fuel in them and when you want to start them the Jets are plugged. I bet it does run with the choke on?

Clean the Carb.

My Coleman 3750 generator normally starts on the 1 st or 2 nd pull. It will not keep running unless continue tom choke it?????

You have a lean fuel condition. Your carb is slightly clogged. By choking the unit you are manually changing the air/fuel ratio to richen up the mix. Your carb needs to be removed and cleaned. Hope this info helped.

Coleman powermate generator won't generate

Check rotor again and measure to see if you have DC voltage on the brushes while running. If no then suspect capacitor

No AC out put

After working on several of this style coleman generator,i have found that the lead wires in the windings that are soldered to where your brushes would contact tend to break.I don't know if it's a poor design or just a fluke,i would check to see if your getting continuity on the rotor and go from there. They seem to either "burn off" or just break.

The issue with the generator that gets low and high when it start running out of gas that effect the A/C and result of high voltage getting to the unit and burn the capacitors and it should by saved by the fuse make sure that the gen not run out of gas if you have the A/C on and that the fuse is the correct one for the A/C and again check the air and see you may got a bad capacitor.
....let me know if that work for you and please do not forget to rate my service so I am able to continue providing same...god bless
