my regular xbox will not read games they skip or it stops and says problems with the disc but its not the disc because its a new game

I have the same problem.

hi,, just clean the lens with cotton buds and lighter, fluid, , , if prob accur,, replace the disc plate motor,, , , , or maybe the mode chip , , , ,r u using evo x?

well have u chiped the xbox with a mod chip coz it done the same thing 2 my xbox so i just turfed it

ummm

well take the xbox apart and their should the disk drive cords and the xbox disc drive and but you might have 2 take half the xbox apart

It may be an issue with the lens inside the XBOX. Try using a stantard DVD player lens cleaner. Just remember, anytime you use a cleaning product like that, refer to both the Owners Manual of the console, and the instructions that come with the cleaner.
