Can't find pictures in internal memory

If you can connect the camera to your PC via a cable, normally USB, to browse the contents of the camera's internal memory then try simply to do a search on the camera's 'drive' for .png, .jpeg or .jpg, .bmp or any other filetype that your camera would use.
Your PC should be able to find any files using those file types and display them. From there you can copy or cut and paste them to a location on your PC's hard drive.
You may have to make sure that your computer has Show Hidden Files and Folders turned on under Folder Options.
Normally, a camera saves all videos and pictures in a folder called DCIM, even on internal storage.

I am transferring images to my computer, which I have done before. Now I am getting the message "Save folder not found?" Have I moved it? Do I need to create it? How? Where? Please help....

My solution is to unistall your current canon software that holds 15 canon components in your computer. You will find them under system task and select remove programs. After you have uninstalled the program, reinstall your "Canon Digital Camera Disk" and follow their prompts. Now you should be able to transfer images again as per normal.
I have answered this question in detail under another question postered by "whitecar631" under canon "save folder not found" canon sd1100.
This worked for me, but I don"t know how to prevent it happening again. I do know the day I lost all "my pictures", I had previously deleted a large file in my documents. I also experienced "save folder not found" when I tried to transfer images from my canon ixus 100.
I was lucky enough that I had all of my original SD Flash Media Cards, so could transfer all my photos again. I have since put all my photos into labelled folders instead of dates and images.
Hope this helps, it appears to be a problem in the canon program. Joyce

You should be able to transfer videos from the Camera to the computer without using any additional driver.
If you're able to transfer the still images and only the issue in transferring videos, you might be checking the wrong place for videos.
In the below picture show the folder structure. The folder listed under C represents the video folder. Please check the videos under that folders and it should resolve the issue. shajanrs_44.jpg Please let me know if the Camera is not recognizing. Operating system information is required to give specific instructions.
thanks for understanding.

How do i transfer photos to my hard drive

Please follow the steps to transfer images from a Camera to the Computer.
  1. Connect the Camera to the Computer.
  2. Turn ON the Camera
  3. If you're getting a pop window after connecting the Camera, close it.
  4. Open My Computer
  5. Once you open My Computer window, you can see an additional drive which represents Camera or Memory Stick in the Camera.
  6. Double Click the drive which represents the Camera.
  7. Find the DCIM folder. It may differ in some models.
  8. Navigate through the folders and find the pictures
  9. You can also copy the DCIM folder and copy to folder in the Hard drive.
  10. Close the window.
  11. Now you can disconnect the Camera. (If you want to delete the images from the Camera, delete it after transferring to the computer)
  12. Turn off the Camera.
Please get back to me with the exact model # and Operating System so that I can give specific instructions if you prefer.
Thanks for understanding.

When you launched the FinePix Viewer, go to "Settings", and then move your cursor down to "Way of Saving", tick the "Make Folder" by "Date", and then click "Browse" to identify the drive partition/folder to save your photos.
After that, click the icon with the symbol of the "camera to folder" on your top right corner, to upload your photos to your computer.
