Yellow image - Sony VPL FX50 Multimedia Projector

Sir/Mam, have you replaced the yellow image unit ? Not the yellow toner cartridge. There two seperate units. Also there are on each image unit blue/white nubs that you can pull out and push back in to clean interal image unit parts do that you do not have to pull the image units out just ensure that when done cleaning they are pushed all the way back in. Once the image units are not toner cartridge and there are four of them located below each toner cartridge .

Replace the image unit yellow with OEM you do not clean image units replace them. then next is the transfer belt

C - 2556 Abnormally high toner density detected yellow TCR sensor.
Clean the TCR sensor window on the underside of the yellow imaging unit if dirty.Reinstall imaging unit or change imaging unit.

The yellow laser could be dirty, the **** glass for the yellow could have toner or dirt on it.
May be the internal components of the yellow image unit itself.

the colorwheel is collapsing and needs replacing. you can get one from any infocus authorized service centers and do it yourself or have them do it. if you are in ny, try av solutions. they've always done good work for me.

LCD projector 101, your blue device is dying inside of projector. Consider purchasing a dlp based product, they do not suffer from color decay.

Really you are blessed , most lcds last about 3-4000 hours or 4 lamp changes. good luck

Sounds like the yellow imaging unit it defective to be honest. I know its new, but may be bad out of the box.
