My remote control I bought for my Sanyo TV stopped working I replaced the batteries and still did not work. I cannot find the code number to enter.

Hi, You need a code to match with your TV remote. The codes for the Ge universal remote for Sanyo are 0049 0097 0110 0004 0268 0012 0108 0180. You will have to try each code seperately untill you get one that works. Good luck.

Take out the batteries,leave the remote to be unpower about an hour.Let all old memory codes erase it self.Put in new batteries to the remote.Enter the codes again.Should work now.

1. Turn your TV on.
2. Press tv on your Sky remote control.
3. Hold down select and the red button together for about two seconds, until the red light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.

1. replace with fresh alkyline batteries.
2. If you have fluorescent lights, they will interfere with the remote.
3. Turn OFF lights, remote will work. Turn ON lights, the remote may not work well.

The "code" depends on the Remote brand/model.
Different maufacturers of remote control units don't use the same code numbers (there is no standard remote code for any TV).

I've bought the same remote control w/ out brand, and I've been using that for a long time. When I bought, it came w/ a manual w/ many codes... but u can use the general search that for me is better.

For example, you wanna fix a TV

1st - press SET button and the TV1 button AT THE SAME TIME (the RED light might be turned ON)

2nd - Press the SET buttton, and you'll see the red light shine, twinkle. (it means that the remote control is trying all codes)

3rd - while the red light twinkle, try pres the ON/OFF button... you should press the ON/OFF button many times, and when the TV turns off is because you found the code, so press TV1 button to stop the research in your remote control.

***PAY ATTENTION!!! If you don't stop the research at the same time that the remote control find the code, you'll lose the code... so you need restart everything again.

I have a 15-2147. The codes from solution 1 didn't work for my remote, so I used the codes listed on Radio Shack's page for the 15-2142. The first code worked. Those codes are: 0154, 1907
