Question about MP3 & Digital Media Players
To be totally accurate, I would need the brand name and model, but.........
In general, you can connect the player to the computer with the USB cable. At that point, the player "should" show something on the screen indicating it is connected. then you most likely have 2 options.
1. Open Windows Media Player, click on the "Sync" button at the top of the WMP window, and select everything you want transferred to the player by dragging songs, albums, etc. over to the "Sync List" section at the right side of the window. Click the "Start Sync" button at the bottom of the sync List section ans sit back and watch it copy everything over. One very nice thing about this option is that WMP will show you how much of the Player drive space will be used before you ever start the copy process. You never have to worry about a "Drive Full" error.
2. Open the "My Computer" window, then double click on the player which should be listed as a removable drive. Open the "Music" folder on the player. Now open your "My Music" folder (inside the My Documents folder), and just drag all the albums, songs, etc. over to the Music folder on the player. That will copy everything you drag to the player.
