How to set call divert to mobile

Call forwarding is a service provided by your telephone company, and the procedure may vary from company to company. With many companies, you dial *72 then at the second dial tone dial the number to which you want calls forwarded.

If this doesn't work, contact your telephone company for their instructions regarding call forwarding. Don't forget to get the instructions for cancelling call forwarding, or you'll never get another call on your phone. (If the *72 works then cancel call forwarding by dialing *73.)

How did you forward your calls in the first place? If it was with *72, then try *73. If that doesn't work, contact your telephone company for their procedures regarding call forwarding.

Cal do you use the call forward feature on the AASTRA Telecom 9316 CW telephone to forward calls to another coworkers telephone number.

In order to set call forwarding on this telephone, must first have the feature CFV (Call Forward Variable) on in the line. This feature can be provided by the telephone service provider.

A typical feature code for this is *72 to activate CFV and *73 to deactivate.

You can program these features on the M9316 telephone by do the following:

CFV activate

1) Press the SAVE key.
2) Then select the key where you want to program the feature.
3) Then enter *72 (optional: plus the telephone number of where you want the call to forward to).
4) Press SAVE twice.

CFV deactivate

1) Press the SAVE key
2) Then select another key where you want to program the feature.
3) Then enter *73
4) Press SAVE twice.

Be sure and label your buttons.

To use go off hook and press the key you just programmed.

Cancel call forwarding

Call Forward Variable is done at your phone by dialing a code like *72 then the phone number you want to forward your calls to. To turn it off you dial another code like *73 or *70. These are popular codes, try the *73 and if it does not work you will have to contact your phone company and ask for the code.

If you have Call Forward Busy/No Answer then you will have to contact your phone company to stop the call forward and setup voice mail or another option.

How do I undo call forwarding on an RCA 25415RE3-A telephone?

Call forwarding is a function of your service provider. CALL FORWARD VARIABLE you control by dialing a code then then number you wont to forward your calls to, *72-685-2900. To disable the forward dial *73. There are different codes for each phone company, you may have to contact them for the code they use.

Another type of forwarding is setup by the phone company, CALL FORWARD BUSY/NO ANSWER. This type of forwarding you have to call the customer service line at your phone company to have them remove it. I use this type for my voice mail and call routing service, All Call Technologies.

When we hit *72 the phones automatically go to an answering service (previous employee left and we don't know how it is done) and we no longer have that service so our phones don't forward anywhere. How...

sounds more like an external call forwarding(*72), my guess is that its on a one touch speed dial button. you can either dial the call forwarding manually by pressing the line you wish to forward dialing *72 then the number you wish to transfer to or you can re-program the one touch button by pressing feature 00 pressing the button you want to program and entering the new call forwarding number (i.e. *72 hold 123-4567 *the hold key is a pause).

Lucent 960 corded telephone

I know this was posted 2 years ago, but I'll try to answer the questions anyway.

1) By itself, the AT&T 960 telephone does not have the ability to forward calls. That would be a function of your service provider (or in this case the PBX that it is connected to).

2) How to forward calls varies from PBX to PBX. You would need to speak with someone who administers the telephone system.
