Question about Magellan RoadMate 700 GPS Receiver
I ordered and received Ver 5 update disc for my 700 back in Oct 2007. Paid $105. As of today 2-12-08 I still have not got it updated and working. I've called more than 8 times in the last few months as well as emailed and received case ID's but still haven't been given any correct information that will fix my gps. In fact during the process of trying to update it has erased all the previous maps so at this point it doesn't work at all. Everytime I call they guarantee me that they will get back to me within 48 hrs and that is not true at all. The last call I made was 1-12-08 and I have yet to receive a call or an email. I'm at a lost. Besides get a refund from my credit card. The only thing I know to do at this point is buy another gps and it WON'T be from Magellan.
