Philips 400 car radio

Had to replace battery in a 98 vectra now radia in safe mode???

dont have the code.

If it's a standard unit contact holden and provide VIN #. If not, check the manual for the head unit and there will be a pin in there. If all else fails get serial number from Head unit and call Philips.

Hp Vectra 6VL will only start in safe mode


Run the computer in safe mode and then go and shut down unnecessary startup programs, then restart the PC.

Can't have access to put code in philips car 400


Try disconnecting the car battery for 15 mins reconnect the battery then enter the code again.

You need to enter the security radio code from your handbook. The radio is asking for this because maybe the battery has been flat or the radio has been disconnected? :)

Hi ive got a 2003 vectra sri 2.2 ,4th owner, ive just swapped the battery and no ive got the stero in safe mode .i dont have the code ;( . its a cdr 2005 vdo . can you help , thanks


Unfortunately CDR2005 codes are only available from your Main Vauxhall dealer or a Radio Decoding Service as access is required to the original factory database which is not commercially available....Sorry

Please check your manual that came along with the car as the codes are written in by the dealer.
if not check with your Opel service quoting your number for the code.
Since the battery was removed it has gone to this safe mode.
