Try going into the service menu. Turn off TV, and wait for all lights to stop blinking. On the remote press the input button, and on the TV press the power button. This should put you in the service menu.scroll and find the reset button.

Try a reset to factory defaults. Show some image with lots of white. If it is still pink, it could be the backlights starting to fail. Or a circuit board. To be sure, you would have to disconnect the LCD panel from the board and turn on the set so that you have a blank white screen....with no signal. A pink screen, backlights are bad.
Sounds like your panel might be going out or a faulty video card. This is the first time I have heard of a solid pink screen on a plasma. Usually this happens on LCDs, though they sometimes go white and stay white, which does signal a bad panel. tv needs repair
