I need to install my Logitech 9000 without a CD. What's the procedure ? ?

This part number is for the QuickCam Pro 9000 or the WebCam Pro 9000. Based on the model number, V-UBM46, you have the QuickCam Pro 9000. Scroll down to find the correct software for the operating system on your computer. The QuickCam Pro 9000 can be used with the LWS (Logitech Webcam Software) versions 1.1, 2.31, 2.51 and 2.80. LWS 2.51 and LWS 2.80 do not support the Video Effects. LWS 2.80 works with Windows 8 and 10 and the direct link to the program installer is http://www.logitech.com/pub/video/lws/lws280.exe . Ok maybe you can try this:

- get the software for the camera and extract into a folder in desktop (to keep it at hand mainly)
- plug in camera and wait for the Guide to a new device thingy, where it asks you to insert cd.
- now most times the computer asks you to insert cd or indicate location of installation folder, instead of cd, try to look for an option to browse to the directory where you extracted the files.

If that works, you will be able to get the basic drivers installed and when you restart, guide won't appear anymore because won't be a new device, and then u could install additional software.

On the right side, click on the Download installation software link under Software Downloads

Select your OS and then select the driver to download.

You can download the software for your webcam from Logitech official website (click here to open the download page for Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000)

Open the link, click on the grey button "Choose OS" and select the operating system type installed on your system, i.e. windows xp or windows vista or windows 7. And on the next page, click blue "Download Now" button.

unfortunately, the quickcam pro 9000 does not come with that feature :(

install driver before plugging into pc. driver located on cd or on manufacturer website.

Click off on the FOUND NEW HARDWARE and continue the installation.

Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.



Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
