Make sure your power wire is secure. Do you get a display? Is the speaker wiring still good? Any corrosion around terminals at the back?

Does the easy starter assembly include the spring.Part no.310022001

My experiance with these is that they are a throw away item as people hate working on them. Do yourself a favour and get a husky. My reason for this is reliabilty. I have owned a 524l for 6 months and reliable as ive also owned a 132r for 30 years that did the rings but for 30 years with minimal maintanance i think that speaks for itself. Dont muck around with this cheap chinnese rubbish. It will cost you. Both now and in the long run

I replaced the crank sencor and its still throwing a code

The car only blue books for about $3000. I hate to suggest it but financially it may be better to cut your losses on this one. A used engine with 7000 miles on it for this car could have been purchased for $1200.

The code that you are getting does not necessarily mean that the crank sensor is defective. Those codes are to be used as symptoms only. If the crank sensor is bad the car won't run at all.

If it's running rough you need to check the health of the ignition system, fuel system, and the timing.

Starting with the easiest to the more difficult.
1. Pull the spark plugs and read them. Are they fouled/damaged/wet/burnt?

2. Check the engine compression. Is the compression low?

3. Check the timing marks. Did the timing belt slip off a tooth with the cam gear? Is the timing belt worn out? Make sure these marks line up with what your manual shows.

4. Check your fuel pressure with a gauge. Does it match what the manual states it should be?

5. Is the coil pack weak, out of tolerance? Check it with a multimeter, make sure the ignition wires are in good shape. If you've never changed them, this would be a good time.

If you check these things you should find the problem...throwing parts at it till the problem goes away is the most expensive way to fix it.

After driving it doesnt want to start, acts like its not getting gas ....ive already changed the fuel pump, and the fuel pump relay, took it in for a diagnostic, but nothing is showing up,garage said they...

Is it a diesel engine? if so, there may be water in the fuel filter which needs draining out. Whether it's diesel or petrol there could be an air lock in the fuel system, particularly in the engine bay (check that flexible fuel pipes are not routed too near hot engine components like the exhaust). If they have been disturbed recently for servicing, they may not have been repositioned under the clips that keep them away from hot components.
