Question about Navman PiN 570 GPS Receiver

NAVMAN PIN 570

BACK LIGHT HAS STOPPED WORKING. MACHINE TURNS ON BUT WITH NO LIGHT. I HAVE TRIED ADJUSTING THE SETTINGS BUT IT STILL DOESNT WORK. ANY IDEAS?

    back light only lasts a few seconds, then goes off. If battery is less than approx. 75% then it last longer.

    Although I can see the Navman working the backlight is not working. Any help I rang Navman and they said buy a new one!!!!!!!. Oh and its a Navman Pin 570

Try cold boot, that is factory reset button on the right of the power/usb cable slot.

I think that your problem is Battery, I had same problem and I changed it.
About the front keys, In start -> setting -> buttons, you can solve this problem.

My Pin 570 works fine except for its inability to log on to the satellites. I know that the antenna is working fine. Mike


if you click your windows icon and select from the dropdown box, Settings, then click system, then gps and click on, then exit completely and try again.

Yes, for activate this maps, you must pay in navman web page this service. but, I am using TOMTOM, in PIN 570, and it's working fine!

Navman pin 570 navigation not working screen says gps port closed


tap on "GPS Status" (second page of GPS software) and be sure that the box is checked in the upper left hand corner. In the same screen, be sure com 8 and 9600 (baud rate) is shown.

Backlight not working on my Navman Pin 570


On the main menu (Start-- Win Logo) go to settings. Then go to system at the bottom of the screen. Tap on Power. At the very bottom of the screen in small print go to "Adjust Backlight settings to conserve power". Click on "backlight" in blue print.

Naveman PIN 570 gps receiver problem


i get the "waiting for gps" message if the gps unit is sending data to the main unit, but no satellite signal is found.
does the unit have sky view?
