Hi im looking for this driver here Audio Adapter: Intel 82801IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio [A3] for my sony vaio thats running xp pro

this is zero support PC.
why mess with it at all
go to goodwill and buy a w7 up device.
end this horror now.
BTW, the show stopper here is 2 fold.
1: HP has no support on retired PCs
2: realtek the mofos., block driver downloads..

Without the model number the above is meaningless.

You dont need any driver since your PC is configured as x64 bit processor so all you got to do is get hold of the XP OS which is meant for x64 compatible PC's. The one normally used is 32 bit named as x86. I hope u wont face any difficulty in getting hold of x64 based OS(XP)......sodeep

if not anything open the system and check the connections sounds like you have hit on everything else besides that
