Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I had a printer that was about 4 years old , and bought a computer with vista on it just recently. When I tried installing my printer it wasn't communicating with my computer. What I found out is that my printer wasn't compatible with my vista, something it had to do with the driver. I even tried downloading a driver so that it would be compatible with my vista, but that still didn't work. So I had to buy a new printer and it works fine.I did everything to get my printer to work with my vista, but nothing worked. I worked on it for like 2 weeks. I hope that I made some sense. I hope it works out for you.

Have you tried turning off your firewall?
That may be the issue.
FIrewalls will block printers. Can you ping the printer and not print to it?
