Comcst remote control code not working

look on the label on the back of your Emerson TV. Read the small print and see if there is a possible different manufacturer that actually made the Emerson TV. Just because it says emerson doesn't mean emerson made it. Also if no luck there try the UL listing code and search that code to the UL listing website. That may help also.

That Emerson TV is made by Funai. Best solution is to get a univeral remote with code search capability for 10 bucks or so. Follow the instruction manual, and It will search all codes until it finds a code that works. May take 5-10 minutes.

I am a comcast worker.The codes on a universal remote will not work because the emerson tv is being used through rf.comcast and most of all universal remotes use infared.or vise versa I cant remember.either way you have to find a remote that can do both which from what i found out run around 400$$$ thanks emerson for the terrific tv.
