Problem for Hotpoint 18 in. DC28 Slim-Line Built-in Dishwasher

my dishwasher powers up but it won't let me select a wash programme. this first happened a few days ago and the salt indicator was lit so i put dishwater salt in it (2kg) and all was okay but the same problem has happened again but the salt indicator is not lit.only light on the panel is the power light

any advice?

- I have power light illuminated no other buttons will depress .

- Low salt indicator is on, all other lights remain out, buttons fail to function... Any ideas in not too technical jargon?!

Oh, and it's a Diplomat dishwasher!

you have water in the base and low insulation 3 things either leak or to much foaming get weaker tablets or back flow from sink, when it drys out it will work
