Question about Televison & Video
How old is your tv? i bought the same tv and my dad also bought the same tv, same model #, almost 3 years ago and my dads was replaced with something else and i just sent mine off to the warranty people today for color and picture problems. if it is less than 1 year old you may want to try square trade warranty. good luck. i hope it works out for you, but apparently they have problems.

The problem you are having can be fixed with an adjutment that has to be done on the power supply. you will need a thec to do this adjustment. as for the remote you can get them here.
as for the extended warranty if it is still under manufacturers warranty you should be able to get it from the place you purchased it from( if they offer it) or the manufacturer.

PDP4294LV1-circuit city unit. Try looking up on units being sold at E-bay.Problem is that a red warning is shown telling that any unit bought from circuit city--this remote will not work
The web site given says OK----I bet! Does anyone know why Circuit City had differant codes and where can theremote be bought ?. Why are some generic code remotes with 3 ,4, or 5 digits and why various digits?
