Depends on how long it sat for with no charge. LION batteries dont recharge from totally being dead if they are left discharged for long periods of time.

Hello, I can't solve your problem but I can sure relate. I am having the same problem with my Bravetti Pro (it's far from Pro - it should be called Bravetti Amateur) I tried cooking a small ham with cut up potatoes recently, and after 11 hours cooking at the medium setting, the potatoes were not cooked. I got this thing as a gift about a year ago, and although I've only used it a few times, it never seems to cook properly. Mine was purchased at Canadian Tire and although I don't have a receipt, I think I'll try to take it back. Good luck with yours! Tom
Hi, leaving the unit in the cradle exposed to the sun during hot days has been known to fry the battery causing loss of battery capacity. perhaps this could be your problem. I replaced the battery in my last GPS 4 times because of this before I analysed the problem. This will most likely be outlined in your user manual too. You might also compare the output capabilities between your blackberry and tomtom charger - it is entirely possible that you are starving the unit of a decent charge if the blackberry charger is not to the same current capacity as the tomtom charger.

Also look on the left side by the belt and motor you should see a black piece of plastic with small springs on it push it to the right to reset it if this has tripped, this is a saftey kill switch that gets activated by the drum belt if there if a sudden problem with the belt tension

Plug it into your computer using a USB cable and press the reset button. Once it resets, keep it plugged in and your computer turned on, until the battery is fully charged. Every so often, charge it. If the battery goes totally dead, it will create problems.
