The Wii remote somtimes takes a minute or two in order to sync with the Wii console. Just be patient and it will happen. This happens to me all the time when I use my Wii remote on a friends console. Also as ctf1800 said, try pressing the red buttons on the Wii remote and the console.

If the remote suffered an hard impact, the gyrosco [is that what it's called} in the wimote maybe out of place so it need to be realined by a gentle smack.

Daughter put wii controllers in a cup of water, took them out right away, the buttons work but the sensor isnt working well

If the unit had batteries in the unit then major electronics came in contact with the water, seems the IR transmiter in the controller or the chip that controls the units operating mode has shorted and the unit is not sending signals to the IR receiver on the main wii console, at which point I would just purchase a new controler, another option you might try is opening the controller and cleaning out any residue that the water may of left behind.

I put the remotes on the charger and they are green but i cant get the remotes to do anything

Hmmmm do they connect to your wii or not.. if they do then try and nothing happens then either your wii isnt picking up the command or the remotes buttons are messed up.. you probably have to replace the remotes or the wii ... if you have warranty go to the place you bought it and ask for it to be repaired

Wii remotes dont do anything just get the four lights flashing?

You need to sync your Wii-motes to the system. Open the battery compartment on the backs of your remotes and the SD slot on the front of your Wii. Press the red SYNC button on the Wii console first and then on the Wii-motes. The remotes should syncronize to your system and work fine.

Wii games won't play....

Call customer service. It seems that some Wii's are scratching dics. The warranty will cover it. Look on the readable side of the disc and see if it is leaving circular scatches. Mine is doing the same thing to certain games.
