I have an Acer Aspire x1200. Compact "tower". The DVD tray won't open and there is no hole to poke a paperclip into. Is there something else available to me to try? Thanks.

Have you tried right-clicking on the CD icon in the "computer" or "my computer" window? There is an "eject" option there.
If that doesn't work, I would suggest replacing the DVD.

Disc tray closed while switching games and will not reopen. Makes a clunking sound.

When it opens you hold it open put the game in and if that doesn't work you take it back to where you got it from at the game store and get a new x box or you could sew them

The console works (comes on , tray opens and closes,) after putting disc in tray and closing it makes a sound like disc reading then stops ,nothing on screen ,,Is this a replace the laser job??

its not dealing with the laser. your cord inside connecting your ps2 top cover to your tray might be lose or not connecting like it should. take apart the ps2 and see if it is connected. if not place it back inside the tray slot inside of the ps2.
