ACER sends me to NTI back full circle looking for the NON-EXIST ANT driver. Is there a legit reference to some code I can poke the darn drive with to make it play nice> with the option to back out if it proves useless? whimper.

- Fractional clarification: NTI produces the backup sware bundled with the Acer System. Further study suggests that the DVD burner is manufactured by LITEON as an oem part; this allows deniability for their bastard progeny. ACEHOLE computers links to NTI's site for inquiries re the burner, upon arrival you are redirected back from NTI to the original page at ACEHOLE that points to NTI. Hall of mirrors repeat until irritated.

hmmm..who's NTI?

if you go to control panel, and look under system, you'll see under the DVD, the actual number of the drive. Use that in google, and add the word 'driver' afterwards, and you may have more success.

got backup for your Acer?
